wOw! June is almost here!

well, I am proud to say that our beaches could not be more beautiful right now- seriously- crystal clear water- sugary white sand… and last night- the sunset was intense! The huge redish-orange sun sank slowly into the gulf right after 8pm. The kids were building sand castles, it was a great way to start the week!

Lots new going on for us… last year we opened a gift shop on the island- the BackAlley. It is located on Bridge Street on the south end of the island in Bradenton Beach. It is full of wild treasures for funky souls and great coffee! With over 100 artists, the store is over 90% handmade, one of a kind, gifts and art. There is a great back yard, we have music in the alley every friday night!

FireDoor, a local jam band is still playing around the island and have a new member!

Anna Maria Island is doing wonderful and I am so happy to live here!
